is the OWASIPPE
MTB TIME TRIAL on
Sunday ,
May 18th at the
Owasippe Scout Reservation just North of Muskegon in
Whitehall, MI.
In 2007, we hosted our first TT on these beautiful trails
and the racers loved it!
Twelve miles of scenic single and double track with plenty
of climbing and descending make for some of the best riding
/ racing in Michigan. Come join us for a great TT,
and fill up with some of our FREE hotdogs!

XC RACE,

great temperatures galore!
Christian Tanguy (American Cycle &
Fitness/WSC) and Susan Schubel
(Dark Horse Racing) rode away with the wins in
the Elite Men's and Elite Women's Classes. The Bloomer
course was totally challenging even without the traditional
trips up and down the Sledding Hill, and the Switchbacks
proved to be a truly formidable section on each lap!

This
race on the Pontiac Lake Rec Area trails in Waterford,
Michigan
was
sponsored by CYCLETHERAPY,
3545 Elizabeth Lake Rd in Waterford.
It turned out to be a great day for a race, even
though it started out with SNOW
and REALLY BRISK
temperatures!!! The Sun came out to everyone's delight
about the time the final awards were being given out.
Although it would have been sincerely welcomed much earlier,
all was well as it was. An inspection of the trails
after the race showed them to be in TERRIFIC
condition! Pontiac Lake is a super venue for early
season activity.

CREEK XC held Sunday,
Sept 9, was the Last Race in the
2007 USAC-MTB Michigan State Championship XC Series!

the race where the final decisions were made on WHO won the
Series in each Class, and who got Free Entries for
the 2007 ICEMAN!
We presented
the Series Awards, the ICEMAN Entries, a set of SportCrafters
Rollers, the TEAM TROPHY for 2007, and just for kicks,
we had a Series Ending Carrot Cake to cut up
and eat!

you consume your energy or nutritional foods on the trails,
please stuff the wrapper into your jersey pocket and bring
it out with you. The wrappers do not bio-degrade and
are becoming an increasing problem on our trail
systems. Bring out what you take into the trails...
Remember, Leave No Trace!
